ASU and Hanyang University Virtual Mini-Conference: Feb. 18th & 25th

The Center on Technology, Data, and Society (CTDS; https://techdatasociety.asu.edu/) at Arizona State University (ASU) in the U.S. and the Center for Computational Social Science (C2S2; https://c2s2.hanyang.ac.kr/) at Hanyang University (HYU) in Korea will host a virtual mini-conference on the theme of “Data Analytics and Computational Modeling for Social Challenges: Public Policy and Management Implications."

Both centers have several researchers working on research projects using data analytics or computational modeling to better understand and approach social issues. Invited researchers will share their working projects and discuss public policy and management implications with conference participants. Each speaker will talk about their working project for 30 minutes, including questions and answers. The talk is open to anyone interested in the topic. We particularly welcome students who are interested in social research using developing analytical tools and techniques.

Please register your attendance in advance for this meeting in the following link: https://asu.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZUtfu-orTwtGtOolb44iVYpY9ZV_QXdp1Ej

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Only one registration is needed for the conference. The same link will be used for both dates and will be open 10 minutes prior to the conference time. We also plan to record presentations so that they can be shared via the centers’ website.
